I've been using Codex for small coding tasks with very good results. For example, this change took a few seconds to describe, and Codex had a PR up within a few minutes. https://github.com/andreitr/basedbits.fun/pull/7

i had a coin all along and I didn’t even know about it
The contract for the upcoming AEYE mint (yeah, I changed the name again) is ready. 50% of all mint fees will accrue to minters! Mint on day one and receive a percentage of mint fees from the second day onward. Mint streaks = multipliers. Should be fun. https://github.com/andreitr/basedbits/blob/main/src/AEYE.sol
TL;DR on how the "mention airdrop" works: I get the mention using the Neynar cast.created webhook, then pass the contents to the gpt-4.5 model to analyze sentiment. If the sentiment is positive, the bot sends 5 BBITS tokens to the user’s primary wallet. https://github.com/andreitr/basedbits.fun/blob/main/app/api/webhooks/mention/route.ts
1/11 PFPs ?? Tokens: The Based Bits Experiment What happens when profile pics meet tokens with real mechanics behind them? We spoke with the creator of @BasedBits_fun - @andreitr to dive deep into the BBITS token on @base.base.eth, NFT experiments, and what’s next for this memetic https://t.co/QK7pO4gBKu
Leveling up my Solidity skills with guidance from @cooki and ChatGPT While testing BaseRace, we realized that the elimination lap logic was too aggressive, and the deterministic number of laps didn’t work well with a small number of participants. Hopefully, this update will improve things! https://github.com/andreitr/basedbits/pull/31
Spent the evening nerding out on Next.js caching. Here’s the ultimate pattern I settled on: server-side caching using unstable_cache with caching for concurrent requests via React cache. https://github.com/andreitr/basedbits.fun/blob/8a6d60bd94ac0455419be4519009e3ab98be1656/app/lib/api/getCheckin.ts
the first Miss Cleo pr by @cody enables the agent to interact with Polymarket. peering into a crystal ball is cool, but having access to real-time betting market data is way better 😂 https://github.com/andreitr/misscleo/pull/1
The new version of Miss Cleo is going out right now, here's what changed: - New objective: humorous predictions - Expanded world info to include outlandish and personalized responses - Adjusted reply and post templates for humor and personalization - Enhanced conversation and tweeting styles to align with the new functionality https://github.com/andreitr/misscleo/commit/53664c0be6a167ae4e09cea3005c9d7c4e461ff0
If anyone is curious about how Miss Cleo (Virtuals AI agent) is configured or would like to contribute to the project, here’s the git repo. I’d love for Miss Cleo to become a true community project—building together means growing together https://github.com/andreitr/misscleo
Hey @bountybot, please post a 25 USDC bounty to anyone who can explain why fetchTokenPrice works locally but not in production. You can see the error live at https://www.basedbits.fun/token https://github.com/andreitr/basedbits.fun/blob/main/app/lib/utils/uniswap.ts
This year on BASE I built 💙 → Launched Based Bits NFT → Launched BBTS token via Based Bits NFT deposit → Gamified NFT mint Emoji Bits (mint fee raffle) → Gamified NFT mint Bit98 with @filter8 (1/1 NFT raffle) → Burned Bits NFT mint with @filter8 (new pricing mechanism) → Punkalot Mint with @gretagremplin (new shuffle mechanism) On basedbits.fun we launched the following apps: - Social Posts - Check in - NFT Raffle - Social Rewards - Token Burner All code is Open Source https://github.com/andreitr/basedbits https://github.com/andreitr/basedbits.fun
This week I built - Finished the mint page for the Burned Bits collection! - Implemented Uniswap V3 token price lookup - Built + Funded + Deployed a token burner bot - Deployed a new version of the Social Rewards contract See github for the source code :) https://github.com/andreitr/basedbits.fun/
Here's the source code for the burner bot. The route is called by a cron job every hour. Pretty simple. https://github.com/andreitr/basedbits.fun/blob/main/app/api/bots/burner/route.ts
This week we built: - Deployed the Social Rewards contract to prod! - Configured the @basedbits to share community posts - Finalized Burned Bits artwork w/ @filter8 - Reviewed Burned Bits contract w/ @cooki https://github.com/andreitr/basedbits/blob/main/src/BBitsSocialRewards.sol
The contract for Burned Bits (collab w/ @filter8 @cooki) is complete! Each mint will burn an equivalent amount of Based Bits tokens. The mint price will be determined by the exchange rate of the BBITS/ETH pair. In other words, the price and supply of both collections will be linked through the BBITS token. p.s. I can't wait to reveal the art! ;) https://github.com/andreitr/basedbits/blob/main/src/BBitsBurner.sol
