Today, I announced constant buy pressure on $NATIVE. When any NFT in the Native ecosystem (Prints, Passports, Dots, Plots, etc.) is minted, the contract will automatically use ½ of the mint fee to purchase Native onchain. These tokens will remain in the smart contract until withdrawn to the Native Treasury.

Coming full-circle with Farcaster-native NFTs today. Over a year ago @flick created the first Frame (the former name for miniapps) for minting BTC ordinals on Farcaster, releasing a collection Axolotls, one of which I have used as my PFP ever since. Today when I minted @sayangel's Warplet collection it drew heavily from my existing PFP. Very cool to have a Warplet that is excellent in its own right but also has deep Farcaster roots!

Japan has just launched a fully fiat-backed yen stablecoin $JPYC is pegged 1:1 to the yen and backed by bank deposits and Japanese government bonds. It’s the first regulated stablecoin under Japan’s new framework, giving it the same level of legal protection as traditional deposits. Transaction fees are waived for now, the issuer earns yield from the underlying bond reserves. It’s launching on Ethereum, which makes sense. The network already serves as the default settlement layer for most stablecoins, so expanding into yen-backed issuance is a natural next step. A yen-backed stablecoin also opens new FX dynamics inside crypto, traders can finally move between USD and JPY stablecoins without touching banks, and builders can create on-chain FX products that mirror traditional finance.
