They're going to compete but - Under Brooklyn Nets 19.5 They used all 5 of their first round picks. Rookies are not usually good. They have a good coach but is that enough? - Under Charlotte Hornets 27.5 Will LaMelo stay healthy? Will Brandon Miller? Kon Knueppel should have a good rookie year but you can see what I think about rookies above. Not a Miles Bridges fan but he can play. Who is their starting center? 27.5 is so low - Over Chicago Bulls 33.5 Coby White is a Tar Heel. Giddey got paid and is now underrated imo. Buzelis has been really fun to watch in preseason. Vucevic isn't dead yet. Have I mentioned the east is weak? - Over Cleveland Cavaliers 56.5 Basically the same team as last year but with Lonzo Ball instead of Okoro. I hope he stays healthy because he's fun to watch when he is. Mitchell, Garland, Mobley, Allen. Yea. - Over Detroit Pistons 46.5 Cade is really fucking good and hopefully Ausar Thompson will get a healthy season in because the dude is a menace. Beasley was really good for them last year bombing from three and he's out but they did replace him with Duncan Robinson and Caris Levert who I like more than most - Over Indiana Pacers 37.5 Haliburton is out. Myles Turner is gone. Mathurin should get to go wild. Is that a good thing? Can Nemhard maintain the Hali style? I'm a Carlisle stan. Without Hali I'm nervous. The east sucks though - Over Miami Heat 37.5 The have the best coach in the league. Herro is out for a while to start the season. Can Bam and crew generate any offense? I don't feel good about it but I'm going to go - Under Milwaukee Bucks 43.5 Giannis is a top 5 player in the league and the east sucks. Cole Anthony is a Tar Heel. That's enough for me - Over New York Knicks 53.5 They're going to be really good. Brunson is really damn good. The team is really damn good. KAT is the best big man shooter of all time. Right? Put Bridges, OG, Hart, Mitchell, and Mike Brown is probably going to make some subs this year and not wear the starters out. I don't see a reason not to go - Over Orlando Magic 51.5 Not sure why their offense is always so damn bad but adding Desmond Bane can't be anything but a positive. Paolo is fucking awesome. Franz is super good. Only thing that I'm nervous about is point guard play but hopefully Suggs is back soon and Black can be a bit better. - Over Philadelphia 76ers 42.5 Ugh. How many games will Embiid play? How about PG? Maxey is awesome and Edgecomb has been fun in preseason so far. Will it be enough though? Derrick Rose has retired. The debate, which will be endless, pertains to his flash-like career meriting mention in the Basketball Hall of Fame. And of course, for a long time thereafter, the discussions of whether he deserved his MVP award, as if LeBron was robbed. To me, there are two moments that stand out in his career. The first is the fact that he sustained an awful injury and had to change his whole game without athleticism, which, may I say, he did quite well. There's a second that, yes, he had only three seasons of bright highlights, but those three seasons are going to be etched in many memories for years to come. That's in comparison to any player who spent his supposed 10+ seasons just hanging around the league without much to remember him by, like Michael Beasley, for instance.
