Gaza Aid Scandal: Anti-Islamic Biker Gang Runs Security at Deadly Sites
A BBC investigation has revealed that members of an anti-Islamic biker gang are running armed security at Gaza aid distribution sites where at least 1,373 Palestinians have been killed while seeking food since May 2025.
Ten confirmed members of the Infidels Motorcycle Club, including seven in senior positions, work for UG Solutions, the private contractor securing Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) sites backed by Israel and President Trump. The gang views itself as modern Crusaders, using medieval Christian cross symbols and promoting hostility toward Islam.
Johnny “Taz” Mulford leads the operation as country team leader. A former Army sergeant with a criminal record, Mulford was debarred in June 2005 after receiving nonjudicial punishment for conspiracy to commit bribery, larceny, and making false official statements in a kickback scheme involving skydiving training at Fort Bragg. Mulford has Crusader cross tattoos and the date “1095” - marking Pope Urban II’s launch of the first Crusade against Muslims - inked across his chest. He recruited at least 40 Infidels members from approximately 320 total contractors, posting on Facebook in May seeking veterans who “can still shoot, move and communicate”.
The gang’s leadership structure in Gaza mirrors its U.S. operations: vice-president Larry “J-Rod” Jarrett handles logistics, national treasurer Bill “Saint” Siebe leads security teams, and founding member Richard “A-Tracker” Lofton serves as a site team leader. Contractors earn $980 daily, rising to $1,580 for team leaders at GHF’s “safe distribution sites”.
UG Solutions CEO Jameson Govoni, a former Green Beret, was arrested in April 2025 in North Carolina on suspicion of hit-and-run and fleeing police at high speeds, released on $50,000 bond. Govoni operates multiple businesses from a single P.O. Box in Davidson, North Carolina, including companies selling hangover prevention drinks and energy beverages alongside his security operations. Security team leader Josh Miller posted photos with a “Make Gaza Great Again” banner advertising his clothing company that sells shirts reading “embrace violence” and “Surf all day, rockets all night. Gaza summer 25.” His company posted videos advocating shooting criminals with the caption: “Remember, always shoot until they’re no longer a threat!”
Miller has “Crusader” tattooed across his fingers and “1095” on his thumbs - the year Pope Urban II launched the first crusade, attacking Muslims as a “vile race”.
The Infidels MC has systematically promoted anti-Muslim content. The gang held a pig roast “in defiance of” Ramadan and currently hosts anti-Muslim hate speech on its Facebook page. Their former logo featured the Punisher skull with the Arabic word “kafir” (unbeliever), symbols appropriated by white supremacist groups. News reports indicate vice-president Jarrett was arrested two years ago for drunk driving and has a previous DUI charge from a decade earlier.
Since GHF operations began in May, 1,135 people were killed near aid sites through September 2, with the UN reporting most killings carried out by Israeli security forces. UG Solutions admits to firing “warning shots” to disperse crowds. The scandal unfolds against Gaza’s humanitarian catastrophe. As of September 3, over 64,700 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza war, with scholars estimating 80% are civilians. Famine analysis confirmed Phase 5 conditions in Gaza City, with 640,000 additional people expected to face starvation by September 30.
According to OCHA, as of June 25, the Gaza Health Ministry reported 549 people killed and at least 4,066 injured trying to access food supplies. Jonathan Whittall, Head of OCHA, stated people in Gaza are being killed while trying to reach food, adding “The attempt to survive is being met with a death sentence”.
Edward Ahmed Mitchell of the Council on American-Islamic Relations condemned the arrangement: “Putting the Infidels biker club in charge of delivering humanitarian aid in Gaza is like putting the KKK in charge of delivering humanitarian aid in Sudan. It’s bound to lead to violence, and that’s exactly what we’ve seen happen in Gaza”.
The UN Human Rights Office stated Israel’s “militarised humanitarian assistance mechanism is in contradiction with international standards on aid distribution. It endangers civilians and contributes to the catastrophic humanitarian situation”. Former Green Beret Anthony Aguilar, who worked with Mulford and became a whistleblower, questioned his qualifications: “This is the man that’s in charge of the entire security apparatus for the security element in Gaza, who has no experience to plan at this level”.
UG Solutions defended its hiring practices, claiming comprehensive background checks while admitting it “does not screen for personal hobbies or affiliations unrelated to job performance”. The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation maintains “a zero-tolerance policy for any hateful, discriminatory biases or conduct” despite employing the controversial contractors.
The revelations raise fundamental questions about private military contractors operating in humanitarian contexts, particularly when personnel hold ideological views fundamentally opposed to the populations they ostensibly serve. As civilians continue dying while seeking basic necessities, calls intensify for neutral organizations to regain control of aid distribution.
