Corbin Fraser Sets Record Straight on Bitcoin Cash’s Origin -

Thanks Corbin! hope to see you among the tiktok hunters soon :)
why are statcast data and advanced metrics important? take a look at these two catches: - in the first, corbin carroll makes the catch look relatively routine. he doesn’t need to dive, slide, or contort his body to make the catch - in the second, church makes a diving catch which looks like a web gem but the mark of the best fielders is making difficult plays look routine. and that’s where statcast data gives us more context about a play. - carroll uses a good jump and elite accelerations to make a 10% probability catch look like an 80% catch - church gets a poor jump but is saved by his elite acceleration to make an 80% probability catch look like a 10% probability chance. without this data, we miss just how hard carroll’s catch is and how routine church’s should be. https://x.com/thewarmonger_/status/1963646576875667607?s=46&t=dGdml54Bn5gAjlxSoZTivg https://x.com/thewarmonger_/status/1962597882265034989?s=46&t=dGdml54Bn5gAjlxSoZTivg

From the memoirs of a somewhat reformed hard-core gamer One of my hobbies is playing online games. Long before miniapps and before /farcade was a twinkle in @blackstock ‘s and @chuckstock ‘s eyes, there were Warpcast games created in frames. They were fun, but with a few outstanding exceptions, nowhere near as sophisticated as the many /remix games we have access to today. One of these fascinating exceptions was a game called, King of the Degens. It was created by @corbin.eth . Many of us got super into it and played it nonstop for months. I must’ve spent an ETH or more playing it. Every player was awarded some DEGEN at the end of each season. The top players got awarded the most DEGEN as they were playing it the most. I didn’t quite break even with all the money I spent, but we all had so much fun. Corbin provided other opportunities for the hard-core gamers to play and/or get introduced to other games via /degenpad . This is how I got a small airdrop of $FIRE to play a new game called /stokefire created By @nbragg . I started playing late last year and marveled as it evolved before my eyes from a frame to a separate app on Apple’s AppStore to a miniapp. This became a wildly successful game and for the hard-core gamers, we spent morning, noon, and night stoking fire, gathering resources, and raiding neighboring villages. This is another game that’s immensely fun and, with some $FIRE and gaming strategy, you can earn a little ETH as you climb the leaderboard. I got in early with Stokefire and made half an ETH to play a game. Yes, I got paid to play a game. I don’t count all the hours I spent playing as anything but fun. The fact that I even have a say when there’s a bug or UI issue is awesome. The developers usually fix the show-stopping bugs in hours or a day or two. Gamers game. ‘Nuff said. How many years of my life have I spent playing World of Warcraft and EverQuest before that? How many nights did I play network games with my siblings and friends? I never expected to get paid to play. Fast forward to today, I am literally being paid to play games on the blockchain. This is a gamer’s Heaven on Earth. I love Farcaster and TBA and the bright future we can’t fully see yet on the horizon. Until we get there, I have a question for you: Shall we play a game?
