🎨 Moonlit landscape, 1849 by Arnold Böcklin 🇨🇭 oil on canvas, 24.5 x 32.5 cm No informations About the artwork: In "Moonlit Landscape," Böcklin may have explored the interplay of light and darkness using a moonlit setting, a theme that allows for dramatic contrasts and a moody atmosphere. This painting would typically depict a nocturnal scene, possibly a forest or a rugged landscape, illuminated by the glow of the moon. The moonlight not only serves as a natural source of light but also enhances the mystical, eerie quality of the landscape, a characteristic element in Böcklin's work.
Doha has grown into a herculean city as we would consider it. It is the capital of Qatar, which was named the World’s richest nation in 2013 by Forbes Magazine. Over the past few decades it has made its mark among other nations competing with its vast oil resources that give this city its edge. Doha was officially declared a city in 1963, and it acquires some of the most breathtaking constructions and compositions of architecture. He said that sanctions don't work 😉 One of Russia's largest industrial empires is considering selling foreign assets due to sanctions. Among other things, Lukoil owns oil refineries in Bulgaria and Romania.
The Car Engine and the Human Heart Speak the Same Language. Both rely on compression, ignition, and rhythm. Pistons and ventricles convert pressure into motion; oil and blood both exist to reduce friction. Every rev is a heartbeat, every heartbeat a controlled explosion. It’s incredible how we look to nature for inspiration for our innovation.
Some Oil painting arts from Adolf Hitler. Could history have turned out differently? In his early youth, he tried several times to enter the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, but was rejected because of his weakness in drawing the human figure. From around 1908 to 1913, he painted scenes mostly focused on cityscapes, architecture, and quiet landscapes with no trace of the human face. His last known works date back to the years before World War I, when he made a living in Vienna by selling hand painted postcards of churches and streets. When the war began and he joined the army, his sketchbook closed forever. It’s said that some drawings and sketches from his final years still exist, but none were ever officially confirmed.
