I thought about this for a lot. And ngl I think that @mintclub comes in real handy if you are an artist trying to add value to your clanker/glanker coins. I’m essentially deploying artistic layers of that coin (called “childrens”) on a bonding curve. this means $push is being swapped for fluctuating digital assests, creating small side pools temporary “removing” tokens from circulation (p.s. there is also a NFT stake/lock option on mintclub to go even deeper) The creator’s incentives are not that good tbh (you gain a % of the father coin on every tx) but imho it feels good to burn every single one of them, helping once again in removing circulating supply. You’re not “get paid” but you’re adding a lot of value to your token (yeah, I still believe in having a few and taking good care of them) TL;DR - creates token/nft bonding curve pools - helps lower circulating supply - provides fees that I later on burn

Late on a Sunday night. All is silent except some mini apps telling me to push buttons. I pause to write this in the hopes it gives you reason first thing in the morning to smile. Ok I've been experimenting with my creator coin $chasesommer (0x2a8db51a83241eb6cc57d8489fbf27ed1457bb07) for the past 50 days now. Here's some thoughts: 1. I started out with tipping it via @noiceapp. I thought it would be a cool way to share my token. However, most people either sell it or don't even realize they have it. Imo, this is a net-negative for the coin and holders of $chasesommer because it causes sell pressure. 2. @cobuild has been a solid way to assist in getting people to buy $chasesommer. Instead of tipping, it allows people to buy my token when they interact with me. I still have this going. They are also introducing new features I'd love to experiment with! 3. Creator coins should only be for people attempting to become a creator. I don't think everyone should be pressured into having one (*cough* zora *cough*). A creator in my eyes is someone who creates some form of content in an attempt to making a living off it one day. 4. I have been distributing a % of my farcaster leaderboard earnings back to $chasesommer holders. The goal is to reward people who support me. For example, last week I did 20% of my rewards to the top 30 holders. /glanker is super smooth airdropping tokens! 5. I am going to start using 100% of my $chasesommer @clanker fees to add to the weekly airdrop via /glanker. To clarify, I will give away the $chasesommer and keep the $WETH as profits. If you think about it, the $WETH is the only profits I'm taking from my creator coin! 6. I am not holding my token. I will not sell my token. If I earn my token via Clanker, I put in the /glanker treasury for extra weekly rewards. The reason for this is that I feel like if I sell my token, people will be upset with me for "dumping on them". One of the main critiques of celebrities doing memecoins is that they dump on their fans. To prevent this, I never hold or sell my token, I just give it away. 7. What's really missing from this is a way to reward those who engage with me, but do not have money to buy my token. They help me climb the leaderboard, but do not get a cut of the rewards because they can't afford the token. If /glanker can solve this problem with a booster for reply-guys, it would be epic. 8. How am I driving attention to the token? Trying to be top 30 each week on the leaderboard. Posting about the token. Streaming and using that token as the utility token (soon via @dendotshow or @pinetree if they add that). Providing product feedback sessions and getting shoutouts. Overall helping people and getting organic praise. Pretty scummy of me, right? I'm still fumbling around on how to make a "legit" creator coin, but I feel like I'm making progress! So for now /glanker does not have a "reply-guy" score, which means I'm only rewarding people who own $chasesommer (0x2a8db51a83241eb6cc57d8489fbf27ed1457bb07) One day I'd like to reward people who can't afford to buy the token, but engage a lot with me. In gaming there's a concept called "Time-rich, money-poor vs time-poor, money rich" This means that there's wealthy people who don't have time to participate (engaging with me in this scenario), but they have not problem buying the token. Conversely, there's also people who have tons of time to engage with me, but no money to buy the token. I'm only able to reward the time-poor, money-rich people atm with the current leaderboard structure. Hopefully one day, /glanker is able to integrate a way to reward the other group :) If this doesn't make sense, please feel free to ask questions.
