Every mainstream platform has become all about selling. It didn’t always used to be this way. Facebook was for connection. Twitter was for information. Pinterest was for inspiration. TikTok was for dance and fun. Instagram was for perspective. Blogger was for ideas. Now it’s one big strip mall. Almost every post is a pitch. Almost every creator is an influencer. We used to share on these other platforms because we had something to say. Now they want us to post because they have something to sell. Why do we need to be shopping all the damn time? We don’t. We need to get back to creating and connecting again. Please Farcaster don't ever become another platform to sell us stuff. This tiny corner of the internet where we get to redefine ownership while staying authentic feels like a return to humanity. Please definitely explore, evolve and change, but not too too much from what's already pretty damn good. 💜

I’ve been trying to learn and expand outside of CT circle and it’s a bit hard on newer platforms in the very beginning but worth sticking with. Please share your experiences in the comments. trying to understand @zora coins: - bought $2 of @bored - received $1.93 - instantly looked to see what i could sell it for: $1.68 down 16% right off the bat. are these fees? slippage? where did my 32 cents go in >10 seconds? i also appear to be earning a steady trickle of my creator coin daily. what is triggering those fees? no one is buying the token so why am i getting paid? and how do i sell my coin without wrecking the chart? instagram onchain is kind of a cool concept but i genuinely don’t get the mechanics of content coins. also using the Base App more this week to compare UX and reward tiers since there’s no transparency there. will keep FAFOing to form a more complete opinion on both.
