Back to regular schedule The last project on the dock is /mintedmerch by @svvvg3.eth I left this for last because it is the most straightforward - ecommerce is one of the most A/B tested areas of web design after all. But I was looking at my moodboard and realised all samples were desktop screenshots, and miniapps are mobile. "Oh well I'll just swap some hovers for taps. Lemme see how the big dogs do it, maybe i'll see something cool" Guys it's bad. I don't even know where to start. - Screens 1, 2: what the helly? - Screen 3: OW does somethin that /mintedmerch doesn't, but still good to note, ie. the make it hard to get to THE shop page. I'm looking for All Products which I know most customers won't be, but like just land me on any category and let me switch in one tap? How hard can that be? Very hard apparently. - Screen 3/b: Tapping on a product opens that product page immediately. Lost opportunity to show me info like: what sizes are available? Is it even in stock? etc. - Screen 4: The actual product page is terrible too. Can't see anything without scrolling, and if I do scroll I can't see the product anymore. Tap on Sizes > everything out of stock, thank you very much. Could have told me before I got here? [Add to shopping bag] is not even deactivated. - Screen 6: Is this screen necessary? The first step in the Cart stepper shows the same content. - Screen 7: Cart is FUBAR. Has both vertical and horizontal scroll with duplicate info, I don't know what's going on anymore. I also don't know who's spending 500USD on that Diagonal Flannel Hoodie. Oh well PS every tap feels like they're relaying content from a server offworld which does not help their cause PS Screens from off---white.com but many others are just as bad if not worse
