** $lemon3 update **
I call $lemon3 my "devcoin". The idea was that holders support me to work on my projects by buying the token. I have always said that it should not be considered an investment, but mostly a donation. Most of my time is invested in Open Source projects, anyway.
That said, I find it fair that $lemon3 holders get some exposure to the upside of projects I build and generate some revenue. In the past, I tried attaching some utility to the token, for example analytics.pingem.xyz require a subscription paid in lemon3. I also considered burning, and the usual. But tbh, all these approaches seemed like trying to pump the token price artificially. To what goal? So that I or other holders sell at a higher price? I wouldn't sell. I did not, even if I really needed the money, during the last couple of months.
As for artificially created utility (because, let's be honest, it was artificial), it hurt both the token and the actual utility. Pingem for example, doesn't have many users, but most of them asked for a subscription paid in dollars/stables. Paying in $lemons3 complicated the onboarding flow, while making the price unpredictable. What was worth $3 today, might be worth $300 next month, how could they make any decision on whether it's worth integrating and using the service?
At the same time, I do have projects that generate some revenue, and I intend to keep working on them:
- @wdimapp signed up 43 subscribers in 17 days, which resulted in $129 revenue.
- @l--o--l is a NFT project I really love, and I intend to put some more work in.
- I revamped niftywalls.xyz, and plan to make a miniapp frontend that makes minting and sharing more fun.
- I'd like to put some more work in Pingem Analytics, and use the same subscription flow as WDIM, which everyone said it was really smooth.
So, here's what I'll experiment with for next few months.
I created a "lemon3 empire" using /glanker:

I will distribute the revenue generated by these projects to the top 100 members of the leaderboard at the end of each month. No buying, burning, or other tricks, just distribution of the actual revenue: USDC from @wdimapp, base ETH from @l--o--l, ETH from NiftyWalls.
I'm starting today, with the 129 USDC generated from @wdimapp, to see how it works. As you can see, in addition to holding $lemon3, you get extra boosts for holding l--o--l ships and/or NiftyWall NFTs.
**This is an EXPERIMENT.***
I may or may not continue it, I may change the way the leaderboard is constructed, etc. Give it some value, only if you are interested in experimenting with me.
