Many real people don't receive this bonus because they simply can't keep up with the activity of spam accounts that farm weekly rewards at lightning speed.
Also, watch how these spam accounts are created: after they receive rewards, they create new spam accounts and pay $10 to advertise these accounts through the gig.bot app for followers and reactions, now these are already huge farms.
The main problem is that regular users also say "gm," "gn," or "congratulation" to their friends, and bots do the same. There's a high risk of miscounting spam accounts.
There's also a high risk of miscounting when people communicate with each other in long texts, like, for example, I'm writing a very long text right now.
The chances of being noticed by filing an appeal are also low. On Farcaster, a huge number of people were seemingly "erased" during the shadowban, and real people couldn't reach anyone on Farcaster to have their situation reviewed and unbanned.
